For a cool escape you can even book one of the two cabins located at the end of the property (Ziggys and Robin’s nest), with its own landscaped grounds and an amazing view of the serpentine river.
The Cartford's menu is an expression of Lancashire’s food culture and a showcase of the region’s best produce. Local and seasonal ingredients are used wherever possible, prepared sensitively by their skilful team of chefs led by Chris Bury. This includes seafood from Fleetwood docks, meat from nearby farms and seasonal, locally shot game. Alongside favourite British dishes, you’ll find more innovative flavours, as well as a discernible proprietary French influence.
Patrick and Julie run this place with raw passion and a twist of eccentricity; resulting in an experience which must be seen to be believed.
